Government institutions, like businesses, face enormous resource and budget management challenges. They are under constant pressure to reduce costs while still needing to maintain the same fixed level of services. In order to respond successfully to these pressures these organizations need to adopt new ways of operating and change their current procedures.
Change does not come easy to any organization, especially one as large and complex as a Government institution. Implementing new technologies and processes to automate many of these functions can help reduce the need for much of the manual activities and free up government employees to better serve their citizens.
